摘要：Among Cuban ships there were many vessels, that inherited for Cuba from the former Span-ish owners, and probably the most bizarre way under the Cuban flag did tug steamer «Humberto Rodríguez». During the Spanish-American War, the ship became well known thanks to the a scan-dal with her capture. On the one side the ship was lucky the sick and wounded under the guise of the Red Cross flag, on the other side, there were certain violations of this status. But in the end the international court recognized the illegal seizure of the ship and forced the US side to bring her back to Cuba. But in the end the ship was a part of the Cuban Navy, having served nearly half a cen-tury under the military flag.
