  • 摘要:The aim of this experience was to analyze, through the identification of the linguistic resources, the discourse of theoretical framework chapters in research papers written by undergraduate students. The use of heteroglossia in the registration of citations and references was specially regarded. This hermeneutic study is based on the engagement as a subtype of appraisal theory in discourse analysis according to the systemic functional linguistics. The result of this discourse analysis showed that students don’t have enough domain of suitable use of the voices in the reconstruction of the meanings of theory taken from reading as a source of information, and many teachers who guide this work are responsible of that situation.
