摘要:A device for class analysis was designed for students of pedagogy in basic education, in order to provide them with a tool to promote reflection in action; the goal was to implement a self-assessment system for teacher’s performance. The qualitative methodology used was based on an Interpretive-hermeneutic paradigm. The aspects considered in the procedures were: a diagnosis of the reality; the construction of a device contextualized to the Chilean reality; the recording of the clases by the students; and the self-assessment of teacher’s performance based on the device designed. The results showed that the students value highly the self-evaluation as part of the analysis, and they are able to reflect from the design of good didactic configurations.
