摘要:This research presents a descriptive-explaining study about the impact of the implementation of a virtual learning object in the acquisition of basic knowledge about Wi-Fi wireless networks, carried out with eleventh grade students of an educational institution. The research adopts a quantitative method, contemplating a quasi-experimental, ex post facto, transactional design. A questionnaire was administrated to the students in a first moment to measure their basic knowledge on Wi-Fi, and the again after the implementation to analyze the changes. The quantitative data obtained from the application of the proposed instrument, were treated from a descriptive and correlation analysis. The conclusions presented the positive impact of the implementation of the virtual learning object in acquiring basic knowledge about Wi-Fi wireless networks, raising the need to control extraneous variables in the study.
