  • 摘要:The study aims to determine the effects of absenteeism among fourth year high school students to learning performance. Specifically it sought to know the common causes and effects of absenteeism and to determine the relationship between absenteeism, learning performance and school performance among fourth year high school students in one Public High School, Batangas City, Philippines. The descriptive method utilizing the survey approach was used in this study. The study concluded that respondents believe that self- inquiry is the main reason for students’ absences in class. Respondents likewise agree that absenteeism results to poor students’ individual learning performance and school performance. It was further concluded that there is a significant relationship between the absenteeism and students’ individual learning performance and school performance.
