摘要：In the present era, knowledge Management has become the key contributing factor of worldwide progress. Due to globalization and competition for high quality education Higher Educational Institutes (HEI) needs reorganization of its programs and policies. Organizations have to change their process of teaching and learning styles such that Knowledge Management(KM) becomes the tool in creating competitive advantages. At the same time we cannot overlook the importance of Human Resource Practices (HRP) which has been realized since the 21 st century much more than ever before owing to the advent of the era of knowledge-based economy. The concept of applying the HRM principles in Higher Education (HE) has been prominent since the late 90s in the Western world (Huxley & Hall, 1996). This review article is to find dimensions of Human Resource Practices and Knowledge Management and Innovation in Higher Education Institutions (HEI) by summing up of previous scientific works to ensure providing an efficient understanding of an ever-changing environment .The research article provides suggestions and recommendation to the policy makers and stake holders of higher education from literature review. The findings of the paper reveal that the concept of stakeholders on HRP and KM is critical for the future of Higher Education
