摘要：The balance of payments (BOP), which are compiledand disseminated by the Ministry of Finance (MOF)and the Bank of Japan (BOJ), is a statistical statementof financial and economic transactions with the rest ofthe world. For the following reasons, the importanceof BOP statistics that cover international transactionsin a systematic and comprehensive manner has beenraising. Firms are increasingly operating on aworld-wide scale for the procurement, production, andsale of goods and services. Cross-border capitalflows are growing substantially. Globalization of theeconomy has continued apace.
