摘要：This literature review highlights the importance of Strategic information system (SIS) in business strategies. Strategic information system helps organizations to develop their generic strategies in order to attain competitive advantages. On the other side, Literature review focus on the business model and the role of strategic information system and highlights the role of information technology in the competitiveness of business model and the role of information technology in business process re-engineering. This literature also highlighted the importance of information technology in the development of Virtual organization.
