摘要:When I was asked to contribute this article on my reflections as Foundation Dean, I found myself recalling what I think were the highlights of the thirteen or so years during which I was the first Head of the School of Law and then the first Dean of the Faculty of Law at the Queensland Institute of Technology, which became the Queensland University of Technology shortly before I retired. (The name "School of Law" was changed to "Faculty of Law" in 1987.) There were two groups of highlights - first, those in the first stage in the life of the Law School between late 1975, when I was appointed, and 1983 and, secondly, those in the second stage between 1984 and early 1989, when I retired.
