摘要：Este estudo aborda fatores evolutivos e históricos que culminaram no estabelecimento de relações do modelo romântico, instituído pelo casamento por amor. Supõe, também, os desmembramentos, consequências e desafios da aquisição familiar, como formação de estrutura social mais ampla. Sugere, assim, a relação do casamento a aspectos evolutivos da espécie humana e à dependência do recém-nascido humano aos pais, como meio de sobrevivência e desenvolvimento. De outro modo, nos mamíferos, dificilmente é constatado vínculo entre o macho e a fêmea após a cópula. Nos humanos os vínculos costumam ser mais permanentes em relação aos filhos, após atingir a maturidade física e cognitiva, estes também não se desvinculam dos pais. No entanto, no que se refere às uniões humanas, as reivindicações das mulheres, por relações mais igualitárias e democráticas, têm provocado profundas alterações no modelo familiar tradicional. As mudanças no mundo econômico e do trabalho, por sua vez, têm provocado uma crise de identidades sem precedente, fatos que somados, tem culminado com separações e novas decisões no que se refere à estrutura familiar. Por outro lado, no mundo contemporâneo, o conceito de família tem se tornado mais plural e com a possibilidade de novas chances. LOVING RELACIONSHIPS: EVOLUCIONARY, ROMANTIC AND CONTEMPORARY FACTORS Abstract: This study deals with evolutionary and historical factors that culminated in establishing the romantic relationships model imposed by love match. It assumes also the dismemberment, consequences and challenges for the formation of a family, as well as for the formation of larger social structures. Therefore, this study suggests the relationship betwen marriage and evolutionary aspects of the human species, and the dependence of the human newborn to his/her parents as a means of survival and development. On the other hand, in mammals, it is hard to observe a link between the male and the female after copulation. In humans the link tends to be more permanent in relation to the children; even after they reach physical and cognitive maturity, they do not separate themselves completely from parents. However, regarding human unions, women’s demands for more democratic and egalitarian relationships has caused profound changes in the traditional family model. Changes in the economic world and labor have caused an un precedent identity crisis; these combined events have culminated in separations and new decisions regarding the family structure. On the other hand, in the contemporary world, the concept of family has become more plural, with a possibility of new changes.
