摘要:In this paper we analyze essays of Walter Benjamin, most written in the middle of the decade of 1930. It shows technique in its link with body and education of sense as a main axis, according to Benjamin, for understanding modernity. The ambiguities of the changes in the beginning of XX Century are expressed in the essays about the modern metropolis with their own challenges and accelerated rhythmus. Technic gestures and senses produced by the industrial production are analyzed by Benjamin. They have their roots also in the advancing of technology and in the improvement of the cities. This process impacts hardly the new forms of perception and sensibility, creating a new subjectivity.
