摘要：The objective of this study is to check the incorporation of environmental management in organizational structure. Descriptive research is seated on a sample comprised of 649 companies from different branches of activity, which provided the information in the journal Análise Gestão Ambiental (2008). It was found through this study, that: the size of the company does not exercise influence in the establishment of a standard organizational structure; certified by the NBR ISO 14001 leads companies to adopt integrated management systems in its structure; and arrangements establish organizational isomorphism only when observing the relationship between area responsible for environmental management and by post.
