摘要：This paper has developed a macro-theoretic model to explain India's recent macroeconomic experiences. It argues that globalisation has cost India dear. It has lost control over the level and nature of its growth process. Globalisation, with its free imports and capital mobility, has given foreign investors the power to wreak havoc on the Indian economy at will. Thereby they have gained enormous control over India. The whole purpose of this paper is to point to the urgent need to devise ways to get out of this ignominious dependence.
