摘要：O artigo problematiza a evolução de marcos institucionais e legais do direito socioassistencial de segurança de renda. Neste intuito, debate especificidades e sintetiza sua inserção dentre as amplas funções da Política de Assistência Social no Brasil. Utiliza da pesquisa bibliográfica e documental para apresentar e distinguir as gerações do direito socioassistencial de segurança de renda. O artigo se mostra original por sintetizar e agrupar o aspecto legal-institucional do direito socioassistencial de segurança de renda que escassamente foi objeto de pesquisa na última década. Abstract: The present article analyzes the evolution of legal and institutional landmarks of the social assistance right to income security. In order to do so, it discusses its specificities and synthesizes its insertion among the broader roles of the Social Assistance Policy in Brazil. It resorts to a review of the relevant literature to present and distinguish the development of the social assistance right to income security. The originality of this article lies in the synthesizing and grouping of the legal-institutional aspects of the social assistance right to income security, a theme that was scarcely researched in the last decade.
