摘要：It discusses the social role that the Information Science has played over time, and particularly in the digital age in which the development of technologically mediated social networking comes to accentuating the day. The information professional it is a very specific function, which is undergoing very large changes in the last two decades, given the challenges it faces and new contexts in which they must act.
