摘要：Presents an account of the experience of the Organizing Committee of the X ENANCIB - National Meeting of Research in Information Science, held in the town of John Person 25 to 28 October 2009, within the Centre for Applied Social Sciences at the University Campus I Paraíba, whose theme was social responsibility of Information Science. Presents a brief history of ENANCIB promoted over the 20 years of ANCIB - National Association for Research in Information Science, and describes the format and organizational structure of the event. Enrolled at the event, 510 participants, including 27 guests, 125 members of the professional ANCIB, 119 non-professional members, 11 members of ANCIB students, 215 students and 13 non-members institutions. 295 papers were submitted, distributed by the Working Groups of 9 ANCIB being approved and presented 195 papers, of which 155 communications and 40 posters, filed http://dci2.ccsa.ufpb.br:8080/jspui/handle/123456789 / 380. As part of the event, there were conferences, lectures and a symposium, plus a cultural program, as provided in http://dci.ccsa.ufpb.br/xenancib/?pagina=programacao.
