摘要：Globalization influences the labour market and breaks paradigms, so moving towards a society marked by knowledge, creativity, innovation, and information. This has led professionals from all fields to reflect on their duties, skills and responsibilities. In this context this article raises the subject of competence in work and educational environments. It also discusses the importance of professions in society and the idea of competence as well as reflects on the political, ethical, technical and aesthetic skills of the school librarian.
