摘要:This extension project aimed to develop digital inclusion initiatives and education for citizenship. It was conducted a set of activities and services for environmental urban cleaning agents and agents of selective collection of garbage from the city of João Pessoa (PB), considering the main point the insertion of technology tools into the learners reality, conceiving learning as a process that, proactively, must involve all students. The intention was to encourage them for political mobilization and collective search for solutions to their individual, professional and communitarian problems. All contents were selected in order to address issues that concern the social and cultural reality in which the target public reached by the project lives, such as the environment preservation, the collaborative nature of work and the learning to access innumerable resources available to citizens by Brazilian Electronic Government Program. All the work planning was designed through meetings and discussions held by the manager group, which, based on theoretical contributions of Information Science, established the appropriate methodology and outlined actions to be implemented, having as principle the digital inclusion in a citizen perspective, aiming to reach social inclusion. This was, by the way, the principle that guided all project steps, since the pedagogical planning up to final evaluation.
