摘要：The Lagoa do Taí, located next to the Industrial Logistic Complex of Porto do Açu, in northern Rio de Janeiro, which makes it subject to impacts from this enterprise. Thus, this research aimed at the evaluation of the water quality of the Lagoa do Tai through the verification of its WQI in temporal and special scale. The methodological procedures included: bibliographic review about the subject; determination of the WQI and data systematization. The WQI of the Lagoa do Taí varied from reasonable to good. It was observed that the smallest values of the WQI occurred in the dry season and the highest ones in the rainy season.
