摘要：The increasing exposure of the general public to electromagnetic waves due to the rapid growth of facilities and wireless telecommunication technologies has motivated research of its possible effects from the point of view of public health in general, as well as occupational health of the workers involved. As an Environmental Engineering contribution to the subject, a comprehensive literature review on the subject and field measurements were conducted in order to assess compliance of the Radio Base Station located on the Macaé campus of IF Fluminense as a case study.
