摘要：Transmutation is a solution to the reduction of the storage time of spent fuel. The high flux of neutrons are required to do efficient transmutation. Therefore,transmutation can be done only in nuclear reactors. The article shows the concepts of different solutions of transmutations in nuclear reactors. The knowledge of transmutation is supplemented by the information of the spent fuel and its radiotoxicity.
