摘要：Computational modeling has proven to be an important tool for environmental resources management and monitoring, especially for water bodies. This paper discusses the feasibility of implementing MOHID in modeling of lentic water bodies, applying as case study Imboacica Lagoon, an aquatic coastal ecosystem historically degraded both due to irregular occupation of its protected marginal areas and to the dumping of untreated sewage into its waters. Thus, concepts about the study area, mathematical model and mathematical modeling are described. The simulation to be produced is expected to contribute to water resources management.
