摘要：http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/1984-9222.2014v7n13p233 In this article, we focus on the trajectories of parties, unions and associations, in order to understand their struggles against the hegemonic local groups and the very issue of living insecurity for workers, in the state of Amapá, between 1944 and 1964. Based on the analysis of interviews and journal articles, we infered that the making of a social agenda was a crucial factor in the alliance between workers and the Partido Trabalhista Brasileiro (PTB). Moreover, we argue that «laborite press» had an important role in the approximation between the organizations that formed the political opposition to the Amapá’s ruling class.
