A metodologia, a partir de visita técnica e entrevistas informais com turistas, empresários e representantes de governos dos quatro municípios da Região, avalia o papel da dos seis portais criados e administrados por uma empresa da Região. Para discussão, abordam-se os conceitos de turismo sustentável, turismo de aventura, ecoturismo e redes. Apresentam-se, ainda, alguns dados do Ministério do Turismo que reforçaram as análises do tema estudado. A proposta é despertar para a importância da informação repassada de forma consciente e responsável, no incentivo às políticas de desenvolvimento regional. Palavras-chave : Turismo. Planejamento. Região da Bodoquena/MS/Brasil Abstract: This paper examines and raises questions on the importance of information networks formed on the internet for tourism planning in pursuit of regional development. For this end, we observed sites of tourist attractions and infrastructure offered to tourists, as well as informal interviews with tourists, businessmen and government officials from four counties in Bodoquena (MS/Brazil) . The text discusses different concepts of tourism, sustainable tourism, adventure tourism, ecotourism and networks. The basis of assessment for the study of the role of the internet came from six portals created and managed by a company in the region. We also present some data from the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism, what reinforced the theme. The proposal is to be aware about the importance of information passed in a conscious and responsible form for encouraging regional development policies.
