  • 摘要:A part of the study on the preparation of the universal VEX computer code developed for determination of pressure profiles during combustion of gas-air mixtures in closed vessels is presented. This part includes the combustion of stoichiometric methane-air mixture in small spherical vessels. The mathematical model used is briefly characterised where the special emphasis is put on determination of the burning velocity and the heat exchange. The results of calculations have been compared to experimental data collected during own studies and those available in the literature. The general conclusion is that the agreement between the experimental data and the results of calculation performed with the use of the VEX computer code is satisfactory.
