摘要:A large part of research related to audience consumer habits focus on urban areas, not taking into account the characteristics of rural areas. The research in this paper attempts to fill this gap with a comparative study of screen use among the population aged between three and eight years old in both types of environments. One of the initial hypotheses is that children from rural areas prefer channels showing natural entertainment (interpersonal communication with peer groups, street games, playing sports, etc. ) to entertainment from virtual environments, resulting from contact with screens. In this regard, we analyze how the same sector of the population uses different resources in its leisure time and how leisure habits change according to the environment type.
