摘要:Life quality in working places have been investigated since the 1970s, however, nowadays, it has received greater relevance and has become an important tool for organizations, because it is from employees’ well-being in his/her workplace that better results, satisfaction and motivation are obtained. The main objective of this study was to identify levels of satisfaction in art teachers’ life quality who work in state schools of Paraná, Brazil, as well as his/her perceptions on pedagogical practices. This study was based on exploratory and quantitative research method carried out in April, 2010, with 31 teachers. Results indicate partial satisfaction rates for some variables of L.Q.W. related to the organizational and biological aspects and partial dissatisfaction for some items of psychological and social aspects. Some suggestions were pointed out for the schools workers, such as: investments in policies to completely favour teachers’ well being and their satisfaction related to their needs due to L.Q.W. and investment in social and psychological aspects.
