摘要:The article proposes to clarify the key inputs of the victory of José Mujica in the Uruguayan presidential elections of 2009. In a long-term view, presents the evolution of electoral parties and the transformations of the Uruguayan party system. From a medium term view, it focuses on the administration of President Vázquez, its achievements and limitations and its correlate in public opinion. The third dimension of analysis, short term, focuses on variables related to the conformation of the electoral offer and the performance of candidates in the campaign.
