摘要:From its very beginnings, cinema has produced an impressive body of literature covering every possible aspect of the art of film The following pages try to put some order to this complex archipelago of criticism, theory, historiography and analysis of film. This is done by emphasizing the differences that separate criticism and analysis and such divergent aspects as essays on tone, point of view, methodology, scope and origin of film (although the average film goer does not usually make these distinctions).
