摘要：Cyberjournalism or, put another way, online journalism, that which in today’s circumstances is made for the World Wide Web, is a new form of journalism that is here to stay. Research, bibliographical production and teaching on this subject have begun at the same time as cyberjournalism itself, so in this case we could claim that Spanish universities are at some advantage. Spain is a well situated European country both on the continent and in the Mediterranean area, and which has especially good relations with Latin American, one of whose languages (Spanish) is shared by most of those countries. All of these are areas of preferential interest in the proposal of collaboration networks between researchers. The formation of the European Space for Higher Education can also be exploited by Spanish universities in order to adopt some leadership. In this article, we briefly analyse those advantages, as well as the weaknesses and opportunities we are facing both in terms of research and teaching.
