摘要:The paper aims to analyze the way public policy implementation has been taught and researched in Brazil, verifying if and to what extent the studies on implementation have also been consolidated following the increasing institutionalization of the field of public policy analysis in the country. The article is organized as follows: in the first section, we question the place given to implementation in both undergraduation and graduate studies. In this section, our focus is upon the Social Sciences, even if we also analyze the graduate programs that are exclusively dedicated to the study of public policies, which are evaluated, by Capes, in the interdisciplinary area. The second section is dedicated to the research on implementation in Brazil. Here we try to quantify and to analyze, with resource to different methods and sources, the bibliographical production of the subfield (theses and dissertations, books and articles). The concluding remarks try to put together the patterns we discovered.
