摘要：The paper aims to analyze scientific publications on water resources management in Brazil which dealing with their management by river basin committees, decentralization and participation involving this new management model. With this aim, the paper presents a brief historical background of changes in the form of water resource management and also the scientific production found the last ten years on the subject. The comparative analysis shows that there are distinction referent to the level and intensity of stakeholder participation. Also, the area lacks studies that seek to indicate the level of relevance of such elements.
