摘要：This study we aim to understand the role of leadership in the construction of an association of producers. This is a qualitative study developed through descriptive research on the purposes and study of case as to means. To collect the data was used an interview semi-structured with nine of the ten associated that take part of the association. The data were interpreted using content analysis and the categories were: constitution process of the association, understanding the meaning of leadership, relationship between leaders and followers, and the roles played by leaders. The results may be highlighted that the leader of the association is noticed by the group through his personal characteristics. The relationship between leader and followers is based on respect and trust and in this interaction, the leader plays multiple roles in order to join the group, organize work, inform and negotiate.
