摘要：Enquanto as comunidades acreditam que são ligadas por um laço afetivo (“primordial”), cujas origens no tempo são muito longínquas, os estudiosos da etnicidade estão sempre mostrando que as representações identitárias são construídas e sujeitas a reelaborações históricas. O artigo reflete sobre as possibilidades de convivência destes dois discursos, particularmente sob a ótica dos estudos de história oral. Abstract Whilst communities believe that they are bonded by endearment ties (“primordial”), whose origins over time are very faraway, ethnicity scholars are always showing that identity representations are constructed and subject to historical reelaborations.
