摘要：Databases of historical primary sources such as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Documenting the American South are highly used and appreciated by members of the general public as well as scholars. North Carolina public library users could benefit greatly if links to such resources were made available to them through public library Web sites. The most convenient solution would be for a central cultural resource institution to take charge of such a project.
