摘要：From the development of a research of collaborative nature, which involved the construction of a computer game about area and perimeter and had the participation of the teacher and students of a sixth grade group from a public school, we have the objective of presenting and discussing in this article the contributions of Teaching Guiding Activities (TGA) as mediation in the process of building the game. We can observe in the students' statements the presence of social and historical aspects in the construction of mathematical knowledge as we invite individuals, who share meanings, to interact. Moreover, the interaction reveals, through some gestures, actions, suggestions and dialogues, unforeseen situations in the research, related to the construction and the way how students produce meanings about content deemed useful in the understanding of the mathematical concepts process.
