摘要：This paper follows the course of the Platonic theory of “Anamnesis”, through the criticism of Aristotle, as it is received by the main Hellenistic Schools: Stoics, Epicureans, Sceptics, Peripatetics and Eclectics. I aim to show that Plato’s main tenets survive up to our days, even in the works of his deepest critics, as a valid cognitive model and an inspiring source of ethical reflection.
