摘要:This article aims at presenting the following study: "How do they see me?", "How do I see myself?" An Audiovisual Look at the Recognition of Teenager’s Identity. Its goal is the systematic development of a methodology, with the use of audiovisual media, for the teaching of History. Among the various issues surrounding adolescents, the poor community context is what motivates us as researchers. However, it is important to make clear that the methodology can be applicable in any context. Therefore, the research focuses on the various forms of listening to students, including video production. How does the teenager recognize his identity before imposed stigmas? How to break the stereotypes that classify residents of periphery areas? The authors who guide us to achieve these answers are Honneth (2003), Martín-Barbero and Germán Rey (2004), Bourdieu (2010; 1974; 1983; 1972), Tomaz Tadeu Silva (2005), and Goffman (1988).
