摘要:In this text, the author supports that existent empirical and reflective knowledge is sufficient to structuralize a News Theory capable to answer to the questions “why are news as they are?”, “why does we have the news that we have?” and “which are news effects?”. The author presents, thus, its Multifactorial News Theory, that benefits of the work of some researchers like Michael Schudson (1988) or Shoemaker and Reese (1991) and is structured in three linked equations. The first of the equations shows that each news is a product of nine variables; the second equation show that each news has affective, cognitive and behavioural effects on the people and that these effects depend on the some circumstances of the receiver; the third equation evidences that each news has effects on the society, the ideologies and the culture (what is reflected in history).
