摘要：Electronic public health surveillance serves an important function during mass events. The use of the cloud instance of ESSENCE for situational awareness during the 2012 NATO Summit in Chicago, IL will be discussed. This presentation will highlight improved functionality obtained via the cloud-based version of ESSENCE, as well as provide a real-life example of utilization of syndromic surveillance data during an event.
