摘要:This paper describes the results of a analysis upon the coverage about children social exclusion in Brazil, highlighting the relations between journalistic practice and public policies. The emphasis is upon the role of public policies citation (in the stories) as an indicator in the comparative analysis between “day-to-day news” and “special stories”, in Brazilian press media, from mid 1990’s to mid 2000’s. Despite the space increase for themes related to the youth rights among one decade, it seems that “minimum parameters” of the journalistic practice are hardly observed in the “day-to-day press”, comparing to the “special stories”.
