摘要:Facing an international scenario ruled by globalization logic and, at the same time, by countrie’s regional integration, jornalistic flux of information has to respond even more on the interpretations that communities or coutries have one about the other. In the recent Brazil-Bolivia crisis, when the Bolivian president Evo Morales announced the natural gas and oil reservories nationalization in his country, with negative consequences forPetrobras (Brazilian oil company), the Barzilian press showed a very nationalistic coverage of the fact and its aftermaths. This study is the result of the analyzing informative news in the newspapers Folha de S. Paulo e O Estado de S. Paulo, published a week after the Bolivian president statement. It reflects on nationalism, sovereignty, globalized economic order and political accords in Latin America.
