摘要：RESUMO É apresentado um estudo dos caracteres anatômicos de 5 espécies do gênero Sclerolobium (S. chrysophyllum Poepp. et Endl., S. eriopetalum Ducke, S. hypoleucum Benth., S. melanocarpum Ducke, S. subbullatum Ducke) e de 5 espécies do gênero Tachigalia (T. alba Ducke. T. cavipes (Spruce ex Benth.) Macbr., T. myrmecophila Ducke, T. paniculata Aubl., T. plumbea Ducke) pertencentes à família Leguminosae. Para cada espécie, são apresentadas informações sobre as características gerais da madeira, uma descrição microscópica e os usos comuns. É apresentado, ainda, um quadro sinótico com as principais características e diferenciações entre as espécies.
其他摘要：SUMMARY This work deals with the study of the anatomical characters of the genera SCLEROLOBIUM and TACHIGALIA (LEGUMINOSAE - CAESALPINIOIDEAE) from the Amazonia. For each one information about general characteristics of wood microscopic description, uses, examined material, twenty microphotographs of the wood samples (cross section and longitudinal section), a table of the principal characteristics and anatomical differences of the species are presented.
