摘要：El proyecto "Visto pero rara vez oído" [ Seen but Seldom Heard ] fue un proyecto de ciencia social performativa (CSP) que utilizó la poesía performativa para clarificar las experiencias de jóvenes con impedimentos físicos. Dos poetas performativos, un grupo de jóvenes con impedimentos físicos y académicos provenientes de las ciencias sociales y de medios/comunicación trabajaron juntos para explorar diversos aspectos de la experiencia vivida de discapacidad, indagando asuntos asociados con la identidad, los estereotipos, el estigma y la representación. En este artículo, vamos a presentar una visión general del proyecto y a considerar cómo la CSP ofrece un método para hacer participar a las voces rara vez oídas e ilustrar esto a través de dos poemas que arrojan luz sobre la vivencia de la discapacidad. Este artículo considerará el impacto de estos poemas como CSP y cómo este método permite a la audiencia desarrollar una comprensión más profunda de la experiencia "vivida" de la discapacidad y reflexionar sobre su propia comprensión de la discapacidad y la discriminación. Zwei Dichter, eine Gruppe Jugendlicher und Wissenschaftler/innen aus den Sozial- sowie Medien- und Kommunikationswissenschaften suchten in der gemeinsamen Arbeit nach einem besseren Verstehen von Identität, Stereotypen, Stigma und Repräsentation. In diesem Beitrag geben wir einen Überblick über die Projektarbeit und zeigen, wie PSS angewendet werden kann, um sonst schwer zugängliche Stimmen hörbar zu machen. Wir veranschaulichen dies an zwei Gedichten, die Einblick in das Leben mit körperlichen Beeinträchtigungen gewähren und die den Jugendlichen halfen, das eigene Verständnis von Behinderung und Diskriminierung zu reflektieren. 其他摘要：The Seen but Seldom Heard project was a performative social science (PSS) project which used performance poetry to illuminate the experiences of young people with physical impairments. Two performance poets, a group of young people with physical impairments, and academics from social science and media/communication backgrounds worked together to explore various aspects of the lived experience of disability exploring issues associated with identity, stereotypes, stigma and representation. In this article, we will present an overview of the project and consider how PSS offers a method to engage seldom heard voices, and illustrate this through two poems which shed light on the lived experience of disability. The article will consider the impact of these poems as PSS, and how this method allows the audience to develop a deeper understanding of the "lived" experience of disability and to reflect upon their own understandings of disability and discrimination.
