摘要：Der Sammelband "Telekommunikation gegen Isolation" vereint auf der Grundlage ethnografisch-kommunikationsempirisch erhobenen Datenmaterials insgesamt acht Beiträge, die auf ein Modellprojekt zurückgehen, das an der Universität Duisburg-Essen (Campus und Klinikum) durchgeführt wurde. Dokumentiert werden sowohl die Ergebnisse der ersten Studie, bei der es um die Entwicklung und Evaluation eines Modells für "Videokonferenzen zwischen isolierten, krebskranken Kindern und ihren Freunden und Familienangehörigen" ging, als auch die Resultate der daran anschließenden interaktionsanalytischen Untersuchungen zur Erforschung dieser spezifischen technisch vermittelten und multimodalen Kommunikationsform. Obwohl es in einigen Punkten an einer angemessenen Einbettung der Ergebnisse in die aktuelle wissenschaftstheoretische Diskussion fehlt, stellt das Buch vor allem in ethnografischer Hinsicht einen äußerst gelungenen Beitrag zu einem bisher von kommunikationswissenschaftlicher Warte aus kaum betrachteten Themenfeld dar und kann damit als Vorreiter für zukünftige Arbeiten auf dem Gebiet der Videokonferenz als eigenständiger Kommunikationsform betrachtet werden. URN: http://nbn-resolving.de/urn:nbn:de:0114-fqs1602197↓La colección "Telecomunicación contra el aislamiento" reúne ocho contribuciones basadas en un proyecto crucial llevado a cabo en la Universidad de Duisburg-Essen, Alemania (campus y centro clínico) utilizando datos de comunicaciones empíricas y etnográficas. Este volumen documenta los resultados del primer estudio, focalizándose en el desarrollo y evaluación de un modelo para videoconferencias entre niños aislados que sufren de cáncer, y sus familias y amigos, como así también los resultados del análisis de las interacciones realizado a continuación, que exploró esta forma de comunicación multimodal y técnicamente mediada. Aunque hasta cierto punto no se logra una adecuada articulación de los resultados con la actual discusión metodológica y epistemológica, en especial en lo referente a las preocupaciones etnográficas, la colección representa una valiosa contribución a un área de investigación que ha recibido poca atención hasta ahora. 其他摘要：The collection "Telecommunication Against Isolation" brings together eight contributions based on a pivotal project carried out at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany (campus and clinical center) using ethnographic and empirical communications data. This volume documents the results of the first study, focusing on the development and evaluation of a model for videoconferencing between isolated children suffering from cancer and their families and friends, as well as the results of the following interactional analysis exploring this technically mediated multimodal form of communication. Although an appropriate embedding of the results in the current epistemological and methodological discussion is missing to an extent, especially with regard to ethnographical concerns, the collection represents an outstanding contribution to a research area that has received little consideration as yet.
