Estonian Journal of Engineering is the new title of the series
Engineering of the Proceedings of the Estonian Academy of Sciences, the
aim and the scope of the journal remaining the same.
The series Engineering of the Proceedings of the Estonian Academy
of Sciences has been published since 1995. During this time the journal
has gained high popularity among Estonian scientists and many of their
colleagues from abroad. Especially popular have become special issues of
the journal, devoted to selected topics in engineering or containing
papers, presented at international scientific conferences held in
Estonia.
The new title of the journal is more compact and it corresponds
better to contemporary tendencies in titling scientific journals. As
previously, this journal is published by the Estonian Academy of
Sciences in collaboration with the University of Tartu, Tallinn
University, Tallinn University of Technology and the Estonian University
of Earth Sciences. The journal is internationally peer-reviewed and
published in English with short abstracts in Estonian.
The journal is open for publications in all fields of engineering,
including mechanical and civil engineering, engineering mechanics,
material sciences, electronics, informatics and coastal engineering.
