Editorial note.
O'Connor, Christine
This issue of the International Employment Relations Review marks
both the completion of its twentieth year of publication, and its final
issue as a separate journal. In the twenty years since the Review was
first established, there have been considerable changes in the academic
landscape around the world. After a strategic review of its
publications, IERA has decided to concentrate its resources on
continuing to grow the reputation and standard of the Review's
sister journal, the International Journal of Employment Studies. From
the beginning of 2015, the Review will be incorporated into the IJES.
I would like to thank all of the Review's editors over the
past twenty years: foundation editors Len Pullen and Maureen Fastenau,
Keri Spooner, Dennis Mortimer, Chew Soon Beng, Ray Markey, Terri Mylett
and Ali Haidar. They have all contributed significantly to its
development and its reputation, and their hard work will now carry on in
the International Journal of Employment Studies.
