Labour History honours the memory of Jeff Shaw through the
publication of the eulogy by Rodney Cavalier at his state funeral on 19
May at the Sydney Town Hall and tributes written by colleagues from
different walks of life.

Jeff served as member of the editorial board of Labour History from
2002 until his death. He regularly attended editorial board meetings and
participated in discussions. He also contributed to both the journal and
Hummer, the newsletter of the Sydney Branch of the Australian Society
for the Study of Labour History. His most recent major contribution was
his study of the life of Jack Sweeney, trade union lawyer and
conciliation commissioner, published in Labour History, no. 91, November
2006.
He will be missed.
