摘要:Just as occurs in the in the entrepreneur world, Non-Governmental Organizations – NGOs, have developed themselves by following a system of nets and partnerships, boosting the development of the third sector and redefining its space in the interconnected world. Furthermore, these organizations build organizational models of their own in accordance with the new necessities for the accomplishment of their objectives, which are also redefined many times. This paper analyses the organizational model of the Comitee for Informatics Democratization (CDI), trying to understand how it is structured and how it achieved notoriety in the social area. CDI is a Brazilian NGO, which searches for solutions to digital exclusion mainly through a “social franchise” model of its schools located in Brazil and oversees. Learning of technology as a means of gaining access to the work market, along with discussions that bring forth a sense of citizenship, provide destitute communities with digital and social inclusion through a simple organizational model, but of great impact to those communities. A key factor in the replication of CDI model, besides its own legitimate strength, is the combination between non-governmental organizations ideals and the professional management of the organizational network.
