摘要:The polygraph or lie detector is an auxiliary technique for the determination of the truth, which gives the judge criteria to corroborate the veracity or credibility of a witness or the version of the investigation. Although the jurisprudence of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice ruled that the polygraph is not a permissible method for the ascertainment of truth, this article offers a to demonstrate that the use of polygraph for investigating crimes, legally relies on conventional standards of human rights, the principle of freedom of evidence, and the text of the statute law of intelligence and counterintelligence, which allows its use as evidence to decouple just cause employees to not pass the tests of reliability and credibility for access to or the provision of services in state intelligence agencies.
